New Drops
Finding Tschitsch by Daniel Tschitsch
Introducing Daniel Tschitsch, a talented street photographer known for his ability to capture the raw moments of everyday life in urban environments. In collaboration with 7Art.io, Daniel invites the community to join him on his photographic journeys through the bustling streets of cities. What makes this project unique is that it is not just an art sale but also a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), where the community has the power to influence Daniel's travels, choose destinations and events, and even vote on the creative process of his images. Daniel, an experienced photographer and cameraman, shares his experiences through social media channels and engages with the community to actively participate in the creation of art.
Daniel's first destination is Riga, where he and his brother embark on a journey to trace their family name's roots. The community plays an essential role in helping uncover their family history, providing insights, and connecting Daniel with the right people and addresses. Along the way, Daniel shares his experiences, updates, and the images he captures in Riga, creating a captivating visual narrative. The community can also offer travel tips, vote on challenges for Daniel, and actively shape the journey. At the end of each journey, a collection of NFTs will be created as souvenirs for those who accompanied Daniel on his exploration.
With 20% of the proceeds going into the DAO treasury, the community has the opportunity to decide the next destination and objectives for Daniel's future journeys. This project not only showcases Daniel's photography but also emphasizes the power of community engagement and collaboration in the artistic process.
Sequels by Joel Meyerowitz
Sequels introduce a novel approach to developing photographic narratives through the use of blockchain technology. It also presents an opportunity to showcase the photographic archive of one of the influential figures in the medium, who has been instrumental in driving various transformations within photography over time, from the transition of black and white to color, from 35mm to large format, and from analog to digital.
In the words of Joel Meyerowitz, a photograph captures the objective truth of what the photographer and the camera observed in that initial moment of recognition. However, beyond the individual delight of a singular image, photographs possess the power to convey a multitude of meanings when viewed in relation to one another. Meyerowitz describes this as the essence of the medium, finding fascination in how images can be arranged side by side, evoking new associations and generating a rhythmic interplay that gives rise to what he calls the "third voice." The "third voice" represents the fresh sensations that emerge when unrelated images are sequenced together, engendering a swift sense of new meaning that surpasses what each photograph can convey on its own.
Sequels emerge from Meyerowitz's years of engaging in this "game of seeing." His aspiration is for it to provide viewers of these images with a renewed and playful appreciation for the vast potential of photography to establish unexpected connections and carry newfound significance.

According to Paul, the project is all about the combination of famous and lesser-known characters, as well as some made-up ones, which perfectly embody the spirit of LEGO: inspiration and imagination.
